Thu Feb 2619:31Donovan Clingan Out, Robert Williams III and Yang Hansen Cleared
Portland Trail Blazers center Donovan Clingan (illness) is out, while centers Robert Williams III (foot) and Yang Hansen (back) are available for Thursday's game against Chicago. Clingan's absence opens frontcourt minutes, giving Williams per-minute upside appeal. Over his last five games, Williams has averaged 6.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks in 14.6 minutes, positioning him as a viable blocks streamer who can deliver efficient production even in a limited role. Hansen profiles as a deeper, riskier option. Jerami Grant and Toumani Camara should also see slight rebounding boosts with Clingan sidelined.

Thu Dec 11 202518:59Robert Williams III, Yang Hansen Out Thursday
Portland Trail Blazers centers Robert Williams III (illness) and Yang Hansen (face) have been ruled out for Thursday's matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans. Both players were listed as questionable on the initial injury report. Donovan Clingan (leg) also won't play against New Orleans, leaving Duop Reath as the only natural center in the Trail Blazers lineup. Kris Murray will probably also handle some of the minutes at the five position. Reath has had a very limited role with Portland this season, but he did post 12 points in 19 minutes during Sunday's loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.

Sat Jul 12 202511:50Yang Hansen Looks Good on Friday Night
Portland Trail Blazers center Yang Hansen had a solid game in Friday's Summer League win over the Golden State Warriors. The rookie logged 24 minutes, finishing with 10 points while shooting 3-for-7 from the field and 1-for-3 from deep. He also contributed to other areas, amassing five assists, three blocks, and one steal. Many didn't expect that Hansen would get selected in the first round of the 2025 NBA Draft, let alone going at No. 16 overall. While the 20-year-old has a way to go before fantasy managers are convinced about his abilities moving forward, his performance on Friday night was a step in a positive direction. The Trail Blazers have one of the youngest rosters in the National Basketball Association, meaning Hansen might get ample playing time right away. Still, it's unknown how he'll co-exist alongside Donovan Clingan, who is currently ahead on the depth chart. Robert Williams III (knee) is also still in the equation, at least for now, which could complicate the situation even more.
