Thu Mar 1918:57Daniss Jenkins Moves into Starting Five
Detroit Pistons guard Daniss Jenkins will move into the starting five ahead of Thursday's game against the Washington Wizards. Jenkins should get a heavier look down the stretch of the season with Cade Cunningham (lung) set to miss an extended period of time. The second-year guard finished with 15 points and seven assists across 21 minutes of action during Tuesday's game. As a starter, Jenkins is averaging 14.8 points, 7.0 assists, and 2.9 rebounds in 31.4 minutes per game across eight starts. The 24-year-old should be a popular pickup with Cunningham unlikely to play again this season. Jenkins has enough upside to warrant snagging off the waivers for fantasy managers in the middle of the playoffs.

Sun Feb 818:50Daniss Jenkins, Pistons Agree on a Two-Year Deal
According to ESPN's Shams Charania, Detroit Pistons guard Daniss Jenkins agreed to a two-year deal with the club. The 24-year-old went undrafted in 2024 and has been operating on two-way contracts with Detroit ever since. He played sparingly as a rookie. However, it's been a different story this season, with Jenkins averaging 15.3 points, 6.7 assists, and 1.1 steals in seven starts. With Jaden Ivey no longer in the picture, Jenkins should remain in line for a stable role from off the bench. He'll also presumably continue to start when necessary. With that said, unless Jenkins is with the first-five, he's hard to trust as a starting fantasy option on a day-to-day basis.
