Shams Charania of ESPN reports that free agent guard Lindy Waters III has agreed to a one-year deal with the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday. Waters has spent parts of four seasons in the NBA, shooting 36.6 percent from beyond the arc across 156 regular-season games. Last campaign, he averaged 4.9 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 52 contests with Detroit and Golden State. The 27-year-old will likely see a limited role in the Spurs rotation during the upcoming season.

Golden State Warriors guard Lindy Waters III (knee) received the starting nod on Friday and unfortunately suffered a hyperextended left knee. Now, he's on the injury report as questionable for the team's Monday night matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers. If he's able to suit up, he may get the start again since De'Anthony Melton (knee) remains sidelined. On the flip side, Brandin Podziemski and Buddy Hield would likely see heavy minutes with one of them moving into the starting lineup if he can't give it a go.

Oklahoma City Thunder guard/forward Lindy Waters III (back) is regarded as questionable for Saturday's meeting with Philadelphia. The 26-year-old is suffering from lower back spasms, which forced him to leave Wednesday's game against Chicago early. Waters III has started his third NBA season in 2023-24, logging 7.0 minutes per game across seven outings. He only plays a minuscule role for the team, and Waters III's absence shouldn't affect the Thunder in any shape or form.
