All things considered, Bey should have a meaningful role in the rotation once he's healthy. He may also get a few starts. Still, Bey has some work to do before earning trust from fantasy managers.

The 25-year-old suffered an ACL injury in March and is still rehabbing, with a week to go until the start of the 2024-25 NBA campaign. Bey could be fun to watch on this rebuilding Wizards team. He has averaged 14.1 points and 5.2 rebounds in 292 regular-season appearances with Detroit and Atlanta. Despite his knee injury, Bey was signed to a three-year, $20 million deal as a free agent by the Wizards in the summer, so the team clearly values him. However, it could take months until we see the 25-year-old in action with his new squad.

The former Villanova Wildcat averaged 13.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 2023-24. Unfortunately, he tore his ACL, limiting him to 63 games. Without a doubt, Bey will draw interest from teams around the National Basketball Association, especially from teams with cap space. While his fantasy outlook hinges on where he'll end up for the 2024-25 campaign, he should remain a relatively reliable producer for managers as long as he stays healthy.

But with De'Andre Hunter (knee) and Dejounte Murray (back) questionable entering the contest, it's anyone's guess who would benefit on the scoring end outside of Trae Young, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Jalen Johnson, and Onyeka Okongwu.

The 23-year-old has averaged 14.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.0 steals per game so far this season and he'll look to add another shooting option alongside Trae Young and Dejounte Murray. His fantasy upside won't be as high as it was in Detroit, but he can still deliver threes, rebounds, and steals in 12-to-14-team leagues.
