Antetokounmpo signed a two-year, partially guaranteed deal with the Knicks on Friday, NBA.com reports.

Antetokounmpo still has a long way to go before impacting the NBA game. Last year's second-round pick is an athletic specimen with offensive limitations. In 47 D-league contests, Antetokounmpo averaged 13.9 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 1.7 blocks in 33 minutes per game, earning D-League All-Defensive Second Team honors last season. The Knicks have 13 players under guaranteed contracts, and the playing time will not be sufficient for Antetokounmpo to return substantial fantasy value immediately.

Antetokounmpo contributed 6.4 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.2 blocks, and 0.6 steals in 15 minutes per game during the Las Vegas Summer League.

Antetokounmpo came off the bench for all five contests, and he converted a mere 2-of-7 three-pointers. The waiving of Ricky Ledo cleared a spot on the roster for the former second-round pick. After spending the last two years in the D-League, Antetokounmpo has publicly stated he wants to join the Knicks. There's speculation he'll sign with the team once they improve their cap flexibility.
