The Marlins are deep at the position, with catchers Agustin Ramirez and Liam Hicks already promoted to the majors this year, but if Mack can continue to hit, he could be the next to be called upon if one of them or Nick Fortes were to hit the injured list. |

Tue Apr 22 | 11:46 | Joe Mack Promoted To Triple-A |
The Miami Marlins have promoted catching prospect Joe Mack to Triple-A Jacksonville. Mack is considered the No. 9-ranked prospect in the system on MLB.com. The 22-year-old spent most of the 2024 campaign at Double-A and needed just 13 games at that level this season to prove he was ready for the top level of the minor leagues. Across 13 games with Double-A Pensacola this season, Mack posted a stellar .318/.464/.614 slash line with four doubles and three long balls. Last summer at Double-A, Mack held a .241/.322/.456 line with 22 home runs across 112 games. He is a name to keep a close eye on as he could push for a second-half MLB debut. |

Miami Marlins catching prospect Joe Mack went 3-for-4 with a double and a home run during Tuesday's contest against Double-A Montgomery.
