Fri Aug 111:01Samuel Basallo, Dylan Beavers Could Play in MLB This Season
According to Roch Kubatko, Baltimore Orioles general manager Mike Elias said he is hopeful that prospects Samuel Basallo and Dylan Beavers can play in the majors this season. The move to bring up Beavers would make sense given the O's just traded Cedric Mullins and Ramon Laureano. Beavers has been crushing the ball in Triple-A and is looking worthy of a chance to prove it at the big league level. As for Basallo, that situation seems more problematic with Adley Rutschman being the everyday catcher in Baltimore. There is certainly a way to put one of them at designated hitter and still use both players. The Orioles season doesn't appear to be going anywhere, so bringing up their prospects isn't a bad idea.

Thu Jul 2401:04Dylan Beavers Stays Hot, Goes Deep Twice
Baltimore Orioles outfield prospect Dylan Beavers went 2-for-4 with two home runs, four RBI, and an additional run scored in a 14-6 loss against Triple-A Lehigh Valley. Beavers has been scorching at the plate recently, hitting 291/.418/.600 with five homers, two stolen bases, and an 11:10 BB:K in 55 bats in July. Beavers is now up to an incredibly impressive .305/.405/.502 line to go with 13 homers and 20 steals in 329 plate appearances on the season. He is the only player in Triple-A this year with those power and speed totals along with an OBP of at least .400. The 23-year-old is approaching a promotion to the big leagues soon with production levels like this, and he should be on the radar of fantasy managers in deeper leagues.

Thu Jul 1700:39Dylan Beavers Ultra Productive in First Half
Baltimore Orioles outfield prospect Dylan Beavers enjoyed an exciting first half as he stuffed the stat sheet, hitting .311/.405/.482 (141 wRC+) with 10 homers and 20 stolen bases in 305 plate appearances. He is one of only six hitters at Triple-A this season to record at least 10 homers and 20 steals, including the recently promoted Brice Matthews. Beavers pairs this enticing power and speed skillset with a refined approach at the plate, with 41 walks to 52 strikeouts for the year. The quality of contact is more modest, however, with a 39 percent hard-hit rate and 8.2 percent barrel rate. While the upside may not be as high as other guys, Beavers still ranks as the number five prospect in the Orioles system and could debut after the trade deadline.

Fri Jul 1106:36Dylan Beavers is Red-Hot in July
Baltimore Orioles outfield prospect Dylan Beavers is heating up at Triple-A Norfolk. Through 32 plate appearances in July, the 23-year-old is slashing .357/.438/.607 with 10 hits and two home runs in 28 at-bats. Beavers saw just six games at Triple-A last season after spending most of the year at Double-A Bowie. He's taken a big step forward in 2025. The former first-round pick has already tallied ten home runs and 20 stolen bases before the All-Star break, flashing across-the-board fantasy potential. With the Orioles expected to sell at the trade deadline, Beavers is making a strong case for a second-half call-up. He should already be rostered in dynasty formats and is firmly on the redraft radar if Baltimore opens a spot.

Fri Jun 2012:07Dylan Beavers Goes Deep in Second-Straight Game
Baltimore Orioles outfield prospect Dylan Beavers went 2-for-4 with a home run and a walk during their contest against Triple-A Memphis on Thursday evening. This was Beavers' second-straight contest going deep and third-straight game tallying at least one hit. Since May 11, Beavers has been one of the most productive hitters in the minor leagues. During this stretch (22 games), the No. 6-ranked prospect in the Baltimore system has posted a stellar .375/.451/.625 slash line four doubles, two triples, four home runs, nine RBI, five stolen bases, and a 12:11 K:BB. During his first 34 games of the season, Beavers held a modest .387 SLG. If the 23-year-old continues to produce at Norfolk, he will likely be in the mix to join Baltimore in the second half.

Thu Apr 1707:50Dylan Beavers Stays Hot On Wednesday
Baltimore Orioles outfield prospect Dylan Beavers stayed hot at the plate on Wednesday during their contest against Triple-A Omaha. Beavers went 2-for-4 with two home runs, two RBI, and two walks. This was his second-straight contest tallying multiple hits and sixth-straight game tallying at least one hit. This is an excellent sign for the 23-year-old as he struggled during the first week of the Triple-A regular season. In his first 10 games before this surge, Beavers posted a modest .167/.262/.194 slash line with just one extra-base hit. Last summer, the outfielder spent most of the campaign with Double-A Bowie before earning a brief taste of Triple-A. Across 119 games at Double-A, Beavers posted a .241/.343/.413 slash line with 15 home runs. Fantasy managers should expect Beavers to spend most of the campaign with the Norfolk Tides.
