Mon Aug 2514:18Kyle Bradish to Make Season Debut on Tuesday
Baltimore Orioles right-hander Kyle Bradish (elbow) will come off the 60-day injured list to make his season debut on Tuesday against the division-rival Boston Red Sox at Camden Yards, according to Jake Rill of MLB.com. It will be Bradish's first start in the big leagues since June 14 of 2024 because of Tommy John surgery on his right elbow. The 28-year-old posted a 4.91 ERA and 1.41 WHIP in 22 innings over six starts on his minor-league rehab assignment, although he looked better towards the end of his rehab assignment. Bradish is worth a look for starting depth in deep-mixed and AL-only leagues now that he's back, but he'll be a pretty risky streamer right out of the gates against the BoSox in Baltimore. He threw 89 pitches in his final rehab start and should be pretty stretched out. Bradish had an ERA of under 3.00 in both 2023 and 2024 and has a 332:105 K:BB in 61 starts over his three MLB seasons.

Sat Aug 2321:39Kyle Bradish Expected to Start on Tuesday
Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher Kyle Bradish (elbow) is expected to make his season debut against the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday. Bradish has been sidelined all season while recovering from Tommy John surgery from last year. The right-hander got up to 89 pitches during his latest rehab outing. It sounds like Bradish is finally ready to contribute to the O's roster. It's unclear what exactly the O's are going to get out of Bradish at this point in the season. However, Bradish is probably worth snagging off the waiver wire for fantasy managers seeking pitching help.

Wed Aug 2019:22Kyle Bradish Set for Season Debut
Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher Kyle Bradish (elbow) completed his rehab assignment on Wednesday, throwing 89 pitches over 4 2/3 innings for Triple-A Norfolk. Baltimore Orioles interim manager Tony Mansolino said a few days ago that he expects Bradish to be activated off the 60-day injured list and make his season debut early next week. Bradish has made six rehab starts, working his way through recovery from Tommy John surgery in June of 2024. Bradish pitched around 21 innings throughout his rehab assignment with a 4.67 ERA and 1.33 WHIP, while racking up 25 strikeouts and eight walks. Keep an eye on his control as he makes his season debut next week. Fantasy managers searching for pitcher help or need a streamer can add Bradish in deep leagues.

Mon Aug 1820:25Kyle Bradish to Return Next Week
Baltimore Orioles interim manager Tony Mansolino said on Monday that the team expects right-hander Kyle Bradish (elbow) to return to the starting rotation on Aug. 25, 26 or 27 from Monday through Wednesday in a home series against the division-rival Boston Red Sox. Bradish has been on the 60-day injured list all year as he recovers from Tommy John surgery that he had in June of last year. The 28-year-old will make one more minor-league rehab start before being activated. The O's have to be encouraged after he struck out nine in five scoreless innings in his last rehab start with Triple-A Norfolk. Although Bradish only made eight starts last year, fantasy managers shouldn't ignore him to close out the year after he posted a 2.81 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 221:59 K:BB in 208 innings over 38 starts in 2023 and 2024. His first start next week against Boston will be one to avoid for fantasy purposes, though.

Fri Aug 1508:31Kyle Bradish Excellent in Rehab Start
Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher Kyle Bradish (elbow) looked sharp on the mound during his rehab start with Triple-A Norfolk on Thursday. Bradish tossed five scoreless innings, allowing two hits, while striking out nine batters. This outing marked his fifth overall rehab start and his third with Norfolk. He worked his way up to 74 pitches during this start. That being said, Bradish will likely do one more start with Norfolk before likely rejoining the O's rotation. Fantasy managers looking for a stash option to help their pitching might want to add Bradish.

Mon Aug 1109:16Kyle Bradish Expected to Make At Least One More Rehab Start
Baltimore Orioles right-hander Kyle Bradish (elbow) is expected to make at least one more rehab start before returning from the 60-day injured list, MLB.com reports. Bradish has worked 12 1/3 innings over four minor league starts, producing a subpar 6.57 ERA and 1.54 WHIP. While his numbers appear rough on the surface, his 3.57 FIP and 3.50 xFIP suggest some signs of positive regression. His 9.49 K/9 and 2.92 BB/9 both line up with his career numbers. At this time, it's not yet clear whether Bradish will require one more start or multiple starts. He threw 69 pitches in his recent outing. Should Bradish get called up after his final rehab start, he could provide fantasy managers with a solid arm down the stretch. That being said, he would have to hit the ground running and produce at a decently high level right away for fantasy managers to have complete trust. The Orioles (53-65) are firmly out of playoff contention, so they have little incentive to rush Bradish. Currently, he remains a decent IL stash with some upside.

Sun Aug 316:34Kyle Bradish Throws 57 Pitches in Triple-A Rehab Start
Baltimore Orioles right-hander Kyle Bradish (elbow) struggled in his first rehab start at the Triple-A level on Sunday. Bradish, who's working back from June 2024 Tommy John surgery, allowed seven runs (five earned) on six hits with 3:1 K:BB over three innings. The 28-year-old didn't get the results he wanted, but the good news is that he built up to 57 pitches (36 strikes) after amassing 38 in his previous rehab outing on Tuesday in Double-A ball. Bradish figures to need at least a couple more rehab starts before returning to the Orioles. He'll rejoin the O's rotation with a career 3.56 ERA, 9.18 K/9, and 2.9 BB/9 across 61 starts and 325 2/3 frames.

Sun Aug 315:14Kyle Bradish's Rehab Assignment Moved to Triple-A Norfolk
Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher Kyle Bradish (elbow) will continue his rehab assignment with Triple-A Norfolk. The 28-year-old was assigned to the Tides on Sunday after making two rehab starts thus far, one at High-A and another at Double-A. He's looked good in his limited sample, allowing one earned run on three hits and a walk while striking out six in 5 2/3 innings of work. The righty will need a few more rehab starts to get his pitch count up, as he only threw 38 pitches the last time out, but could rejoin the O's in late August or early September, just in time to help fantasy managers in need of pitching down the stretch run and into the fantasy playoffs, so interested managers should consider stashing in an IL spot until then.

Wed Jul 3009:46Kyle Bradish Sharp in Rehab Outing
Baltimore Orioles right-hander Kyle Bradish (elbow) made his second rehab start for Double-A Chesapeake on Tuesday and was sharp, allowing one hit and no walks in 3 2/3 shutout innings. He struck out two and threw 38 pitches, 24 of them being strikes. While this was an encouraging outing for the Orioles and Bradish, he is still likely another three or four rehab starts away from rejoining the big-league club, at minimum, putting him on track to return sometime in mid-to-late August. If your team can afford to stash him on the injured list, you should do so. During the 2024 season, he posted an impressive 2.75 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, and a 12.13 K/9 in 39 1/3 innings pitched. While the sample size is small, he had a 2.83 ERA in 2023 in 168 2/3 innings pitched.

Thu Jul 2421:11Kyle Bradish Throws Two Innings in Rehab Start
Baltimore Orioles right-hander Kyle Bradish (elbow) threw two innings in his first rehab start with High-A Aberdeen on Thursday. Making his first appearance in a game since undergoing Tommy John surgery in June 2024, Bradish yielded one earned run on two hits with four strikeouts against one walk over 37 pitches (22 strikes). He regularly sat in the 94 to 96 mph range and featured "tremendous" offspeed offerings, according to Jake Rill of MLB.com. It was an encouraging performance for Bradish, who broke out as one of the game's top starters in 2023 and was on his way to another great season in 2024 before he had to undergo surgery. The 28-year-old remains on track to rejoin the Orioles' pitching staff in August.

Sun Jul 2014:53Kyle Bradish Making Rehab Start on Thursday
Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher Kyle Bradish (elbow) has been cleared to make his first rehab start with High-A Aberdeen on Thursday. Bradish threw a two-inning live batting practice session on Saturday. Clearly, that went well enough that the O's have cleared Bradish to begin his rehab assignment. Bradish is working his way back from Tommy John surgery from last year. He's going to need multiple rehab starts to build up his pitch count and stamina. The timetable for Bradish's return is unclear at the moment, but he figures to be back around August. Fantasy managers looking for pitching help might want to stash Bradish on their IL. The right-hander was a stud before the elbow injury, so hopefully he can return to that same form again in 2025.

Sat Jul 1921:37Kyle Bradish Throws Batting Practice Session
Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher Kyle Bradish (elbow) was able to throw a live two-inning batting practice session on Saturday. Bradish reportedly looked good during this session, which is great news. That means, Bradish should be able to head out on a rehab assignment now. He figures to need a few rehab starts before getting back into the mix in the O's rotation. Bradish is working his way back from Tommy John surgery from last year. The hope is that Bradish can be an option in the starting rotation by late August. He could be worth a stash on the IL for fantasy managers desperate for pitching help.

Fri Jul 1818:12Kyle Bradish on Cusp of Rehab Assignment
Baltimore Orioles right-hander Kyle Bradish (elbow) is expected to start a minor-league rehab assignment after a two-inning live batting practice session on Saturday, per MASN's Roch Kubatko. Bradish has been out all season as he recovers from Tommy John surgery on his right elbow. The 28-year-old is making some good progress and is close to getting back into real games, but he still has a ways to go and will most likely require a full 30-day rehab assignment before the Orioles consider activating him later in the second half of the season. In a best-case scenario, Bradish might return in mid to late August. Bradish had a 2.83 ERA with a 9.0 K/9 in 30 starts in a breakout 2023 campaign with the Orioles and also held a nice 2.75 ERA and 12.1 K/9 in eight starts before being shut down in 2024. He should have a rotation spot waiting for him, but his workload will probably be limited down the stretch.

Wed Jul 1619:55Kyle Bradish Nearing Rehab Assignment
Baltimore Orioles right-hander Kyle Bradish (elbow) had Tommy John surgery with internal bracing performed in June 2024. Interim Orioles manager Tony Mansolino said recently that Bradish will throw at least one more live batting practice session before beginning a minor-league rehab assignment. The 28-year-old has already thrown a few live bullpen sessions and should be cleared to start his rehab assignment soon after the All-Star break. Barring any setbacks during the rehab assignment, Bradish could be ready to rejoin Baltimore's rotation by mid-August. Fantasy managers with an open IL spot should continue to stash Bradish after he posted a 2.75 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, and a 53:15 K:BB across 39 1/3 innings last season before getting injured.

Sun Jul 1308:37Kyle Bradish to Throw on Saturday
Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher Kyle Bradish (elbow) is set to take the ball and throw two innings next week in Florida. If everything goes well, Bradish is likely to go out on a rehab assignment after his two-inning outing on Saturday. Bradish is currently working his way back from Tommy John surgery that he underwent in June of last year. Barring any setbacks, Bradish should be able to get back into the mix at some point in August. It's unclear how much Bradish will be used down the stretch of the season as the O's place in the standings could dictate that. Bradish isn't someone that must be stashed right now as it's unsure when he'll return at the moment.

Thu Jul 1009:13Kyle Bradish Continues His Recovery
Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher Kyle Bradish (elbow) continues to work his way back from Tommy John surgery and could be ready for a rehab assignment soon. According to interim manager Tony Mansolino. Bradish has thrown a pair of live batting practices in Florida and will have one more before potentially beginning a rehab assignment. Bradish made eight starts last season for the Orioles, going 2-0 with a 2.75 ERA, 2.61 FIP, and 12.1 K/9. He looked to be developing into a possible front-line starter for Baltimore before needing Tommy John. He could ramp up and return in August or September, which would give fantasy owners a good chance to evaluate his fantasy potential for next season. He's definitely someone to keep an eye on to see if he can return to form after the surgery and extensive recovery.

Mon Apr 2821:32Kyle Bradish Throws Another Bullpen On Monday
Baltimore Orioles manager Brandon Hyde said that right-hander Kyle Bradish (elbow) threw another bullpen session on Monday. Bradish has been throwing bullpens for around two weeks, so he could be cleared to take the next step soon and face live hitters in his recovery from Tommy John surgery last June. Still, the 28-year-old has a long ways to go in his rehab and isn't expected to be a starting-rotation option for Baltimore until after the All-Star break in mid-July. When he returns, he'll be a shaky fantasy streamer and could struggle with his command initially while most likely being on an innings restriction. The former fourth-rounder of the Los Angeles Angels in 2018 out of New Mexico State had a 2.81 ERA and 1.05 WHIP with 221 strikeouts and 59 walks in 38 starts since the start of the 2023 season, but we'll be tempering our expectations in the second half in 2025.

Wed Apr 1617:37Kyle Bradish On Track To Return Later This Summer
Baltimore Orioles right-hander Kyle Bradish's (elbow) recovery from Tommy John surgery is "flying along" as well as it could be, according to general manager Mike Elias. Bradish is right on track in his recovery and could return in the later half of the summer. The 28-year-old threw his first bullpen session last Saturday since he had TJ surgery last June. While he had an ERA under 3.00 in each of the last two seasons, he only made eight starts in 2024 before being shut down with elbow issues before needing elbow reconstruction. When Bradish does return, he'll have his innings managed, which will lower his fantasy ceiling. For now, he should remain on the waiver wire in most single-year fantasy leagues. In 30 starts in his second MLB season in 2023, Bradish went 12-7 with a 2.83 ERA and 1.04 WHIP with 168 strikeouts and 44 walks in 168 2/3 frames over 30 starts.

Fri Mar 2121:19Orioles Add Kyle Gibson, Put Kyle Bradish On 60-Day Injured List
The Baltimore Orioles agreed to terms on a one-year major-league deal with free-agent right-hander Kyle Gibson on Friday and placed right-hander Kyle Bradish (elbow) on the 60-day injured list in a corresponding move to make room for Gibson on the 40-man roster. Gibson's deal is for $5.25 million and will give Baltimore some more starting depth entering the 2025 season with Grayson Rodriguez, Tyler Wells and Bradish all opening the year on the injured list with elbow issues. The 37-year-old veteran could get some decent run in the team's rotation eventually, which could make him worth pursuing in AL-only formats. Gibson spent the 2023 season in Baltimore before going 8-8 with a 4.24 ERA and 1.35 WHIP with 151 K's and 68 walks in 30 starts for the Cardinals in 2024. There's not much upside, but Gibson could have some streaming appeal in DFS back in Baltimore.
