He has been excellent at Sugar Land in the minors, but fantasy managers should consider him a desperation streamer in his second start of the year, even against the A's.

He spent this past season pitching for Triple-A Worcester in the Red Sox's organization, going 7-6 with a 4.42 ERA, a 1.32 WHIP and a 129:39 K:BB in 29 outings (27 starts) covering 138 1/3 frames. Both Krook and Alexander are likely to start at Triple-A Las Vegas in 2025.

He was especially bad in July, giving up 15 earned runs on 19 hits (four home runs) while walking six and fanning eight in 14 1/3 innings. Alexander could be a candidate for some more spot starts in the second half if the Brewers are in a pinch, but fantasy managers should avoid him as a streamer.
